# Integrate a CDN resource with CS-Cart

> Install the Universal CDN add-on in CS-Cart to rewrite image, CSS, and JavaScript URLs through a Gcore CDN domain.

The Universal CDN add-on can rewrite CS-Cart image, CSS, and JavaScript URLs to use a Gcore CDN domain. The add-on is a paid third-party product, so its supported CS-Cart editions and versions can change.

Root administrator access, a compatible [Universal CDN add-on](https://marketplace.cs-cart.com/add-ons/site-management/content-delivery-network-cs-cart-addon.html) archive, and an HTTPS-enabled [custom domain](/cdn/cdn-resource-options/general/create-and-set-a-custom-domain-for-the-content-delivery-via-cdn) for an active CDN resource whose origin is the CS-Cart storefront are required. Back up the CS-Cart files and database before installing the add-on.

**1. Confirm the CDN origin**

In the [Gcore Customer Portal](https://portal.gcore.com), open the CDN resource and confirm that the origin is the CS-Cart storefront domain or server.

Request an image, a CSS file, and a JavaScript file through the CDN domain. Confirm that each path returns the matching storefront asset before enabling URL rewriting in CS-Cart.

**2. Download the add-on**

Purchase the Universal CDN add-on from the CS-Cart Marketplace. Select the correct CS-Cart edition and confirm that the listed compatible versions include the installed version, then download the add-on archive.

**3. Open manual installation**

Log in to the CS-Cart administration panel as a root administrator. Navigate to **Add-ons** > **Downloaded add-ons**, open the gear menu, and select **Manual installation**.

**4. Install the add-on**

Select the package source:

* **Local** uploads the archive from the computer.
* **Server** selects an archive from the server file system.
* **URL** downloads an archive from a remote address.

Provide the add-on archive and click **Upload & Install**. CS-Cart checks the required file and folder permissions before completing the installation.

**5. Open the add-on settings**

On the **Downloaded add-ons** page, find the Universal CDN add-on and click its name to open its settings.

**6. Configure the CDN URL**

In **CDN URL**, enter the custom domain configured for the Gcore CDN resource. Use an HTTPS URL when the storefront is served over HTTPS.

If the installed add-on version provides separate controls for images, CSS files, and JavaScript files, enable the required content types. Save the settings.

**7. Activate the add-on**

On the **Downloaded add-ons** page, activate the Universal CDN add-on if it is disabled.

**8. Verify CDN delivery**

Open the storefront and use the browser developer tools:

1. Open the **Network** panel.
2. Reload the page.
3. Filter the requests for images, CSS, and JavaScript.
4. Confirm that the request URLs use the CDN domain and return successful responses.
5. Repeat a request for a cacheable asset and confirm that the Gcore `Cache` response header reports `HIT`.

If requests still use the origin domain, verify the saved **CDN URL**, the enabled content types, and the add-on status.
