# Use an AWS S3 static website as a CDN origin

> Set up an AWS S3 static website as a Gcore CDN origin, configure a custom domain, and test content delivery.

Creating a CDN resource does not rewrite absolute asset URLs in HTML or application code. If they still point to the S3 website endpoint or another origin domain, update them to the CDN domain. Then confirm in the browser **Network** panel that the requests use the CDN domain.
