# Create an additional account and switch between accounts

> Create an additional Gcore account and switch between accounts at sign-in when one login belongs to several accounts.

One Gcore login can belong to several accounts. The Customer Portal works with one account at a time, and the profile menu shows which account is active.

## Active account

The profile menu shows the account currently in use:

1. In the [Gcore Customer Portal](https://portal.gcore.com), click the avatar in the top-right corner.
2. Read the account name and the account ID in the menu. The email address of the login appears above them.

The same account name is editable on the [General information](/account-settings/account/overview) page, where the account ID is read-only.

## Create an additional account

Creating another account from the profile menu is not available in the Customer Portal. To get an additional account, contact [Gcore Support](https://support.gcore.com/hc/en-us/requests/new).

## Switch to another account

The profile menu does not list other accounts and has no control for changing the active one. Switching happens at sign-in:

1. In the profile menu, click **Sign out**. The [sign-in page](https://auth.gcore.com/login/signin) opens.
2. Sign in again. When the login belongs to more than one account, select the account to use. A login with a single account opens the Customer Portal directly.
